be a consignor

Why Should I Be A Consignor?

  • As a consignor you make 65%* on your item sales less the $10 consignor fee and you set the prices on your items. (Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours and make 70% on your items sold)
  • We do all the advertising and all the work.

  • You get to shop early at the consignor pre-sale BEFORE we open to the public.

  • We sort your items for you at pick up or you may choose to donate them to KVC Behaviorial Healthcare.
  • Consignors checks will be mailed within 2 weeks of the sale completion.
Consignor referral program
We will waive your $10 consigor fee when you refer a new consignor to the Overland Park JBF sale.  The new consignor must reference your name when registering and must meet the minumum requirements for consingors (20 items or $100 worth of items).

Don't know where to start?  Attend JBF 101!

Clothing Guidelines:

We know that some past styles are coming back, but please pay careful attention to what you bring. When styles reappear 20 years later, there is typically a variation on the idea. For that reason, please try to bring clothing purchased within the past 5 years.

Number Of Items To Consign:

Just Between Friends recommends you have at least 20 items to consign or a minimum of $100 of merchandise to make it worth your time and to receive an acceptable return on your items.
