Tami Metzger Hi! I am the organizer of the Overland Park and Shawnee/KC, KS Just Between Friends sales. My Family... I am a mom of three, Jamie is 8, Lindsey is 7, and Braden is 5. I have been married to my husband, David, for 14 years.  He has officially become my JBF partner!  My family has shown great support including my sister, brother, and both sets of parents whom I could not do without.  You will most likely run into them at the sale! Why JBF? I think JBF just makes sense! We parents invest so much money in the items our children need and many of these items are in great shape long after our children out grow the clothes, grow tired of the toys, and grow beyond the equipment and furniture. Why not let other families purchase these items at greatly reduced costs and earn cash from these investments? Plus, JBF is a fun way to meet other moms in the area! In Today's Economy... As most of us watch our wallets closer these days, I know that more and more of us are looking for ways to care for our families and still make ends meet. JBF helps families get the most out of our current possessions and enables us to acquire the items we need for the future. My Experience... My background is in accounting.  I have worked as a controller for an awesome company in the Los Angeles area and am now back home in the Overland Park area having a great time with my kids. I became passionate about consigning a few years ago and am so excited that the Just Between Friends opportunity has opened up for me.  I feel honored to serve families in the Kansas City area, helping all of us care for our families and be great stewards of our resources.

My Goals... Fall 2010... I hope that Kansas City's community has benefited from two great JBF sales events including over 600 active consignors and serving more than 4000 families. Future...To have JBF Overland Park be a household name among families with children 0-12, to grow between every sale, and  to be a positive influence to other women and mothers. First Thing's First... My family comes first, spending time with my husband and kids is my favorite thing to do.  I love to cook and I love bargains.  I am always looking for nutritious and quick recipes.  If you have any to share, please send them my way.  (They may end up in a JBF newsletter!)
